RWB May'12 Lookbook

I can't believe it's July already! Even though I'm two months behind, I recently saw this Runway Bandit's May lookbook and I must say that I fell in love with it! Not only do I adore the clothing featured in the lookbook, but the photography  is so dreamy. I love this kind of effect, if you could not tell from my own editing of my pictures. The shoes are awesome as well, but I don't think they are by Runway Bandits.

Go like their Facebook page because they regularly hold giveaways and they sell awesome clothing!

Fly Away

What I used:
-Base: Sally Hansen Double Duty Strengthening Base&Top Coat
-Orange polish: Wet n Wild Megalast in 212C Heatwave
-Sally Hansen Salon Effcts Real Nail Polish Strips in 330 Fly With Me
-Top Coat: Sally Hansen Insta-Dri

Resulted from boredom, I wanted to give my nails a makeover with some butterflies and bright colors! It was my first time trying out these nail strips by Sally Hansen. I gotta say, it was pretty hard for me to put them on, but the concept is great! No drying time and no air bubbles. But it is REALLY hard to take them off, trust me. I also really like Wet n Wild's Megalast nail polish line. It's the best nail polish for its price (about $3 I believe). I have it in two other colors. The top coat is amazing as well! It really does dry fast, which is a big pro for an impatient gal like me.

They're Here!

What a wonderful sight! I was just browsing through Solestruck's website and I saw this collection. All I can say is BRILLIANT. I love Jeffrey Campbell's design and Black Milk clothings has the best galaxy and other prints. Combined together and working with Solestruck? Wow. I especially adored JC Cosmic Litas and these look more awesome. I'm not a big fan of the Sick Of Men print--that is the cartoon strip one--but I actually like the black and white print--Bone Machine. The name is too gothic for my taste, but who cares if the print itself is so funky! These are pretty pricey, which is the only downside for me and my wallet. If only I was a millionaire... x.x

Palm Trees!

moto
All items from topshop.com and collage made from polyvore.com

I'm beginning to love tie-dye things. I used to think they are too hippie-style for me, but as the summer arrived I'm okay with it. Those shorts are the cutest. I wish I could afford all of these!

Prom Dresses!

I'm in a dilemma... PROM DRESSES.
My prom is coming soon in May 2012 and I'm wondering which dress I should buy.
I'm planning to buy it really early to assure that no one else will overlap with me.
So the big question is: gown or short?
Prom is all about wearing long dresses, but this year is my Junior Prom. (which is less fancy than Senior Ball) So I'm thinking to buy short dress this year and then long dress next year.

SHORT DRESSES:
Easier to dance in, no alteration needed, more selections, less budget, useful in future, legs!
(IMAGE VIA NORDSTROM.COM)
I have been eyeing this dress for awhile now. I really like the color because even though it is red, it's a deeper shade of red, which suits me better. Also, I thought this dress with a gold glitter pumps would look really well together.
(IMAGE VIA ALDOSHOES.COM)
This is a bit less gold than I like, but this is just an example.

LONG DRESSES:
Pro- More fancy and Prom-like, statement!, elegance
(IMAGE VIA CACHE.COM)
I am in love with this aqua color this season, and I found the perfect dress with it! This dress is a bit expensive, but not as much compared to others. I just love the color and it is not strapless. I cannot stand strapless dresses because they make me uncomfortable. Even though I love this dress, I'm afraid to break the bank because I can't think of any other occasions to wear this dress. For accessories, I would go with silver tone jewelries and any shoes since it's going to be covered up anyway.

So what do you guys think? Help me out!

Waterfall

| SHEER WHITE BLOUSE FROM MOM'S CLOSET | LOVE CULTURE WATERFALL SKIRT | CLAIRE'S WATCH STYLE RING | REFLECTION SHOES |

I adore this skirt and the color because it is so different from a traditional maxi skirt. I avoid wearing maxi skirts because I am very short and I feel like it is wearing me, rather than me wearing the maxi. However, this skirt allows me to show off my legs but still wear a lengthy skirt in the back. Also, I've been seeing a lot of these asymmetrical style skirts/dresses everywhere for this upcoming season!

Spring Pop!

| CLAIRE'S HAT | GAP SHIRT | FOREVER 21 NECKLACE, RING | LOVE CULTURE SHORTS | NUDE HEELS |
Sorry for the MIA. I was trying to upload two videos to my YouTube channel, but my Sony Vegas Pro 10 will not open up and work. I hope I can fix it later.
I'm so excited for spring to come, so I've been preparing my wardrobe for spring too! I really liked this orange shorts because it gives a beautiful pop of color to the outfit without too much. Plus, the color orange is really in for S/S 2012. I paired it up with nude heels so it will elongate my legs. I hope you all like this outfit! Please support me by hyping this look on my LookBook!

Korea Trip (Last one)

First time I got my nails done professionally! It was an awesome experience, but so expensive! I asked for dark green gradient with some glitters. Loved it for the Fall/Winter season.
For those who loves seeing pictures of food... well you came to the right place! I love taking pictures of anything edible... This is omlette with pork gatsu. So yummy <3
This was taken from a very famous shaved ice dessert--also known as Patbingsu 팥빙수-- place that is located on the top of the Hyun Dae Department store. During summer, it is so popular that people literally wait hours and hours to eat this. It was really yummy. The two white things on top are mochi. The reddish brownish thing is sweetened red bean paste. It's SO good.
Yummiest garlic bread that I have ever encountered in my life!
Green tea milkshake & another shaved ice dessert (not as good as the other one though)
The famous Ssamzigil 쌈지길. I didn't get to buy anything from there because it was so expensve, but I had a good time just looking around and enjoying the scenery. This place is very famous because you start at the ground level and then suddenly you reach  the top as you stroll along the stores. Does that make sense?
Lovely street scene. It was decorated like this because I went during the Holiday season, kinda.
 This building was so pretty!
The colorful Seoul N Tower 서울 남산 타워. I think it was a good choice for us to go there at night time. So much more beautiful!
 Ah. Korea.
Speechless scene from the top of the tower. ♥
I really wish I can go back to that day. It was amazing.

Hope you enjoyed it as much as I did!

Suddenly I See

 | FRY'S ELECTRONICS HEADPHONES | FOREVER 21 SHIRT DRESS | URBAN OUTFITTERS PURSE | DOC MARTENS |

I love starting my day with good music because it instantly brightens up my day. The title of this outfit is one of the songs I love listening to in the morning, because it was featured in the movie Devil Wears Prada, and this song comes up when all the women are getting ready in the morning to start their days. Listen to it:

Suddenly I See - KT Tunstall
Perfume of the day: DKNY Be Delicious
This is an amazing perfume. It's very fruity and juicy, so not heavy at all. I bought the little version of this, so I only have a little bit left... sad. But this is my all time favorite perfume to use throughout the whole year, preferrably spring and summer!
So you guys are probably used to seeing me with wavy hair.. today I decided to straighten my hair. Wondering what products I used? Here you go: Got2b heat protector, Remington Pearl Straightener, Biotherm Silk Therapy (not shown above)
Last but not least... this is my leftover lunch from school. I just finished eating these... so yummy! I love my mom for making me legit Kimbap every morning.. :')

Hope you guys enjoyed my outfit! I cannot wait for the weekend to come already.

Love to dress, dress to love ♥

Valentine's Day outfit suggestions:

valentines day outfit 1

Lovely Lace
I love lace for normal occasions, but I thought it would be super appropriate for the romantic day of Valentine's Day! Lace gives out an aurora of feminine and sweet girl! There's nothing wrong with being a bit sweeter than usual on this special day.

valentines 3

One Shoulder Dresses
If you are going to a fancy dinner with your lover or your friends, spice things up with chic and sexy one shoulder dress. I love one shoulder dresses because 1. it's on trend 2. it's not strapless so you won't have to be pulling up your bras through the night when you should be having fun 3. shoulder cleavage is better than a deep V cut. As for colors of the dresses, you should choose the one that looks the best on you! Even though Valentine's Day is all about pinks and reds, being a rebel and breaking the "rule" isn't bad at all!

valentines day 2

Mellow Mint

You want to break out of the typical color palette of Valentine's Day but you don't know which color to reach out to? Try the mint color this year. As you guys all know, I am obsessed with the color mint and I have my reasons! It looks clean, but darling at the same time because of its pastel tone. The dress show above is a perfect example. The frills along the neckline adds the extra sweetness to the outfit. I think this color suits many skintones and can go with both gold and silver jewelries. It's a very versatile color, so play with it!

These are few of my suggestions on what to wear on the special Valentine's Day (it could work for dates as well). However, the most important thing is that you should wear what you feel the most confident in and still look good.

Remember, you should love to dress and dress to love

Spring Breeze

| FOREVER 21 NAVY BLAZER | H&M NECKLACE, SHIRT | AMERICAN EAGLE OUTFITTERS SHORTS | DOC MARTENS | TARGET CROSSBODY | MICKEY MOUSE WATCH |

I'm so happy that spring is coming! Not only do I love wearing pastels and bold colors, I love the warm sunlight and the breeze. It's just awesome. I really wanted to incorporate my navy blazer today so I decided to have a theme of blue clothes and silver jewelry. Speaking of which, I got my Mickey Mouse watch from my dear friend for my birthday present! I LOVE IT. Also, I added in my nail color of the week which is Essie's Ladylike with a coat of glitter polish on top. I added in the glitter to make it more spring appropriate, because Ladylike is very Autumn-inspired.

Leave me a comment about #1 thing you are excited for spring time! :)
